A Post Which All Guys Should Read and Remember..

Guys, it hard to find a friend, but its harder to find a TRUE friend.

So I came across this article a long time ago, and I am glad Ive kept it.

Its a guide on how to choose your friend, and how to be a good one.

Think about it...

1.He Doesn't Help You Move
Favors are guy currency. "It's how they express how much they care about each other." If your buddy is always busy when you need him most, or you don't bother soliciting his help anymore, the friendship may be in trouble.

2. He Call You Only When He's Down

You've gone from comrade to counselor. "It's no longer a two-way relationship," says Lynn. Dump him or start charging by the hour.

3. He Rarely Hangs Out

"In contrast to women, who emphasize emotional closeness, men have friendships based on activities they do together," says Koji Ueno, Ph.D., an assistant professor of sociology at Florida State University. If you no longer make time for each other, the friendship is doomed.
BTW, I have experienced this kind of problem. With a friend of mine. Rarely seen him nowadays.

4. His Jokes aren't Funny Anymore
"His frat-house antics aren't as hilarious now that you're 35 with two kids," says Lynn. "That's because you're in different life stages now." Related sign: You talk only about the old days.

5. He Lies About the Small Things
Guys base friendships on whether the other person has their back. "When trust erodes, the friendship follows," says Lynn.

6. He Talks About How Much More You Earn
Men tend to pair up, friendwise, based on background and status. "If one friend suddenly gets a higher-paying job," says Ueno, "that could put the friendship on thin ice."

7. Your Girlfriend Thinks He's a Dolt
Women judge relationships by whether they're socially appropriate, "so she'll be able to tell right away if the only thing holding your friendship together is the past."

Friendship is a wonderful thing. Dont mess it up.
